A job ad is not a job description
A job description is for the company, a job ad is for the candidate: its job is to interest them. Start with what the person will do and why, then what you offer, and only then the requirements.
Requirements: fewer is better
Split “must have” and “nice to have”. A long list of must-haves turns away strong candidates who honestly miss one point out of ten.
Questions
Should I state the pay?
Yes, if you can: a range in the ad saves time for both sides. The check reminds you when it is missing.
How is this different from the job description template?
A job description (job profile) describes the role inside the company. PapaHR takes the tasks and requirements from it into the vacancy, while the ad text you write for the candidate.
What does it cost in PapaHR?
The check on this page is free. Hiring in PapaHR is in Pro: $1.50 per employee a month paid yearly.
